- Summer Camp 2024From the 27th July to 6th August, we held our annual Summer Camp. This year we returned to PACCAR Scout Camp, in Chalfont St Peter, and enjoyed a number of activities such as; abseiling, pedal karting, high hopes, zip wires and tomahawk throwing. - Congratulations ImogenCongratulations to our Explorer Imogen on the awards she has won this year. She was not able to attend the AGM and Awards Day in June, so was presented with them in front of the group and leadership team on Thursday 18th July. - Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award ExpeditionWe are thrilled to announce that on the 13th and 14th July eight of our dedicated Explorer Scouts have successfully completed their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award expedition! They walked for 32km over the two days, camping at Well End Campsite, and cooking their meals on stoves they carried with them. - AGM/Activity Day 2024On Saturday 29th June 2024, we hosted our AGM and Activity Day at Mill Hill Rugby Club. - Investing a new SquirrelOn the 16th May we invested our new Squirrel Boris into our drey.
- Investing new ScoutsOn Thursday 9th May, we invested three new Scouts; Ethan, Jayden and Emin into the troop. All three have moved up throughout the group, and have made an impactful start in their new section. They have brought a new lease of energy and contribution to their new patrols.
- Investing new cubsOn Thursday 23rd May, we invested George, Nickan and Muhammad into the pack. All three were Beavers at 19th, and have made the step up with great success and enthusiasm, bringing a new lease of life into the cub pack.
- Meeting of two cub packs19th Hendon have recently taken over the running of nearby group 21st Hendon. Both have a thriving cub pack, and the two groups met for the first time for a night of games and team building challenges. The packs will continue to have nights together, camp together and go on activities.
- Investing a new cubOn Thursday 28th March, we invested Ruari into the Cub pack. Ruari has been with 19th as a Beaver, and has been enjoying cubs since the new year.
- Squirrels visit the RAF MuseumOn Sunday March 24th, the Squirrels Drey visited the Royal Air Force Museum London, as part of Stage One of their Air Activities Activity Badge. On Thursday, (21st March) in preparation, the Squirrels learned about different aircrafts, made paper helicopters and learned about the phonetic alphabet, using it to spell their name.
